On delivery
Please sign for the goods as "Unchecked". The Teapottery must be informed of any breakages or damages by midday the following day of delivery at the latest, otherwise the insurance for the goods will be void.
All our teapots are thoroughly packed by hand at our despatch department in Leyburn. However, should your item be damaged in transit, we would be very grateful if you could report any breakages by contacting our office on: +44 (0) 1684 591506 as soon as it is possible, so we are able to contact our carrier and then replace the item on availability.
General Delivery Terms
Our carriers are unable to deliver goods to PO Box numbers, therefore please supply alternative address if possible.
All products are dispatched as soon as a order is confirmed and payment secured. However due to the number of products we occasionally have to make products to order, in which case we will contact you and give you an estimated dispatch date for your order, you have the right to cancel the order at anytime prior to dispatch. We reserve the right to take up to 28 to delivery your order.
Returns and Collections
Returns and collections are only accepted if they carry an obvious manufacturing fault and are collected (via our courier) within 28 days from sale. We would kindly ask you to inform us why you are dissatisfied and repackage the item in the original packaging, ready for collection by our carrier.
A postal charge maybe made for all other returns & collections (such as contract cancellations. see below) depending on the reason for the return of the goods. If the goods are returned using an independent carrier, it is your responsibility to ensure that the item is delivered in good condition, otherwise a charge maybe made if the item is not suitable for resale. This will also apply to goods, which are in your care.
Cancelling an Item
Under the United Kingdoms Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven days of delivery. Exceptions are foodstuffs, beverages and any item made specifically for you. To cancel a contract for non-food and beverage items, please send your complaint in writing, giving the reason for the return as "Contract Cancellation".
